Now that everyone who picked the Detroit Lions in their Survivor Pools for Week 1 have come in from off the ledge, let’s keep the Pain Party rolling. We all love this sport for a reason (mostly gambling) so let’s take a look at the biggest Underdogs for Week 2 of NFL 2019 at offshore sportsbooks and see where there’s money to be made this Sunday.
Let’s great right to the largest spread on the board, which is of course the Patriots and Dolphins in Miami. New England roll into town with a more than 2 touchdown spread but the numbers are all over the place at the moment. SportsBetting.ag has Pats -18½, MyBookie has them at -19, and the stable geniuses over at Bovada have a line of -19½ posted…confusion like this is pretty rare to see. Needless to say, if you want to bet on the Dolphins to cover this weekend, hit up Bovada, (but if you live in New Jersey you’ll be forced to lay action at MyBookie cause they’re the only ones who will accept you).
The next meaty number on the board is the Ravens at home in Baltimore taking on the Arizona Cardinals, with the home team getting 13 points. All of the aforementioned betting websites all agree with this line (for now) so don’t bother shopping around. Although, anyone brave enough to take the Cards moneyline will get a little extra value at SB.ag with +525.
The only other eyebrow-raising odds to be found are on that wonky Jaguars and Texans game in Houston, with a current line of -8½ for the hosts. Sure the Texans might be a better team but that number just feels a little high. Of course, the mavericks over at MyBookie currently have Jags +9 so the best value for straight-up action on the Road Dog is with them.
Speaking of MB and their insane Head Bookmaker, David Strauss, here’s a live feed of all their current odds for NFL Week 2 for anyone interested in seeing the full slate of action. Good luck this weekend and stay the hell away from that Bills/Giants game…
